Its been 14 minutes passed since 0000 hours. Which means now its officially my 28th birthday!!! The March 15th

The good news is 17th March is a public holiday for Irish people to celebrate St Pat's day.
Isn't it nice to have a public holiday not remote from your birthday...Just like Mee....

So guys...I plan to bake a birthday cake for myself on St Pat...any suggestion on which cake recipe should I try???

I am not great at baking seriously. And not a cake-holic person either. But I know I like cheesecake and fruitcake...

Fruitcake sound like a brilliant idea since I have not try it before...but I welcome any suggestion cause my choices are really limited right now...

Please gimme suggestions....please..please..=)

When I am busy

One sweet day.
I was fasting yet still so busy.
The breaking point was at 6 pm
I was still at work at 5.45 pm.
No preparation what so ever before I could eat officially
So....before heading home, go straight to restroom, grabbed a cup of tea. Immediately at 6pm, started to drink.....now, lets go home!!!

What did I have in fridge to cook?
Well a bag of frozen peeled prawn, frozen veg, chicken, beef, and fish.
Its at 6.15 pm. Urgently decided what to cook before the time fly by quickly.
No time for defrosting, chopping etc
Ok...why not instant fried noodles!!...thats sound perfect...this can be ready in less than 20 minutes

What I use for the ingredients are...

1) Instant cook spaghetti (available in Tesco)
2) Frozen cooked and peeled prawn
3) Frozen veg (combo of carrots, cauliflower, broccoli)
4) 1 small packet of instant fried rice powder (instead of fried rice, I like a twist. I substitute with noodles. Powder form is easy to dissolve with noodles)
5) 1 or 2 eggs (depends on size)

Its really simple and a very quick recipe.

1) Boil a water and put the spaghetti into it till it soft. Should be done in 2-5 minutes
2) Bring the soften spaghetti to dry. Put aside
3) Heat frying pan with cooking oil
4) Put prawn and veg. Let it cook till soften and dry. This may be take about 10 minutes
5) Pour the spaghetti and instant powder into pan. Stir it well.

6) I forgot to splash the egg after prawn and veg. So what I did, make some space inside the pan, and fried the egg like a scramble one.

Nearly done

And its done!!! Ready to have a proper meal now....

I considered to make a dessert as well. I prepared this while I was cooking the main course.
This is Pengat Pisang, simply Banana with sweet coconut sauce.
Do not have a complete picture how it is look like but at least I have these already-cut-into-small-pieces-banana pics.....

All you need are:
1) Banana
2) Coconut powder or liqiud
3) Dark brown sugar
4) Water

Steps:
1) Chop banana into small cubes like this
2) Boil the water. Pour the brown sugar
3) Pour coconut oil. Bring to boil. make sure stir it well after the coconut to prevent forming of coconut oil.
4) Pour the banana cubes till it soften.
5) Ready to serve. You can have it when its hot or cold. I prefer cold

Kerry's Thai Eating Place

First of all these pictures has been arranged by myself in a reverse manner. The event should started from below and finish at this very top picture here. Apologize for that but the story contain still remain the same.

Well just like other people, after working/know each other for quite sometimes in KGH, we gathered at Thai's eating place in the town having dinner before everyone move to other work place to continue our training.

Again, if you are from Tralee or stuck in Tralee for some reason, try this asian restaurant. Its really give you an original taste of Thailand dishes. The staffs are very friendly and will guide if you can't made up your mind which one to choose. And I trust in their prediction (I always asked the manager because he is from Malaysia....that's the secret!!)

Some of us who joined in that night. We were at the front shop before say goodbye and leaving the restaurant.

Still waiting the food that we had ordered a few minutes prior. Do not waste time waiting forever. Snap a picture for future reference =)

Guys, if you read this entry, I am sorry to publish your picture here. Do let me know if you do not want to participate it.

Sis's Graduation

I am proud to announce my dearest sister graduation was held on October 2009. This is a-back-to-few-years-event entry. Well, it does not really matter. My sister still pursuing her higher degree so on her second G-day I'll make sure that entry is up-to-date =B . She was not in a good form that day. Left eye was infected somehow....poor girl, wish I could did something but I am not a surgeon....Look! She still gave everyone a smile on her Big day!!

Both of us have an equal height. Somehow I looked taller than her in this pic. Well it was a stiletto that I wore on that day.

That's my mom!! She is the one who really should be proud here. All her 9 kids have grown up and each of them has become a professional human being.

After the G ceremony, my family and I headed towards Alamanda Putrajaya hunting for food. Never let this great moment spoiled with starvation. Instead we should celebrate it!!!

There are always a few choices for food there but we chose this top Briyani restaurant which I can't recall the name right now =). Its fabulous anyway. Price range is affordable for family set, clean and comfortable environment, friendly stuff etc (can you see now I tend to promote those restaurant that I like in my blog. Don't worry I wont criticize/comment or even include in my entry if I don't like it...). For your information, Jamilah and Mustapha are the founder of this briyani franchise.

What a feast....See, the table had been extended and fully occupied with dishes and beverages

Ooppss. This picture is not follow the story flow. Well it was taken at my elder sis place before departing to graduation ceremony. Nuha my niece tried harder to drive a car (as you can se there) and Syahir was observing what she was trying to do next!!!

Back to story line here. Snapped a moment before the waiter cleaned everything on the table...

After lunch, we were spending quality time together outside the shopping centre as we were approaching to the car park area.

My fiance (he is my husband now) and I had to say Bye Bye to my family members. Got to attend our friend wedding ceremony in Seremban. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive from Putrajaya to Seremban. Thats not including the traffic jam plus minus if we lost. It was 2 pm and we still in Putrajaya. We better be hurry before its over.....

Finally we arrived at Acap and Najwa's Wedding after a hassle finding Najwa's house in middle of Seremban town. They looked gorgeous in the gold attire. We bought a big present from Parkson and small present specially imported from UK for both of them. Now they already have a son. I am happy for them.

A bunch of happy kids from all over places gathering at Acap's wedding.

Banana Plantation

I want to share what I did on November last year during annual vacation at my hometown. I was taking some pictures when I was preparing dinner today that I wanted to share the recipe to everyone (as usual). Then when I was transferring the pictures from camera to laptop, I found these collection of my memories last year and decided to upload in my next entry.

This is my father. He is a teacher majoring in Mathematics. Soon enough he will retire in a few months time so he and his brother decided to plant banana trees in a small few acres land. He recruited some people to work with him as well. Here are a few hundreds banana seeds collected ready for cropping.

New born banana tree that are still growing a few days after cropping. There are certain steps to follow in order to grow this tree. To bury banana seed needs enough depth in order to grow. If too shallow, it wont happen. Make sure the distance between trees is uniform to maximize the usage of land and easier to manage when trees are full grown-up.

"Can you manage this bananas project if I handle it to you?" my father asked me. I said "Off course I will." I am glad and thankful if I have at least 20 acres of land. I will be the boss and taking a good care of all my loyal workers. If this comes true, I will resign my current job!!!

Some of a free area that was not been seeded yet. I am sure it had been cropped with bananas by now.

I was wearing a 3 euro pair of shoe from Dunnes Store. Turn out to be like this - decorated with dry clay dust all over- and it was really obvious cause it comes in black colour!!! I really like this shoe even though its really cheap - very comfortable and lightweight. I wiped off the stain soon after we headed back home.

See how we appreciate of what Allah gives to us. We are human with healthy mind and soul, the strength that Allah created within us makes human superior than other creatures on earth such as animals and trees. Human is the only creatures who can decide of what they want to be, have a power to lead this world. Only a Human. Not an angle, not a devil, not an animal, not even a tree. We should be thankful to Him and follows His order. Always know our limits and always remember Him. God will bless us if we remember Him all the time, use all the resources that He provided to create a peaceful in this world we live in.

The banana tree area is surrounded by rubber and oil-palm plantation. These 2 are the main natural resources from our country - Malaysia and also our neighbours such as Indonesia, Thailand etc...nowadays rubber price in the market has increased to RM 17 per kilo. It is expected that the price can go higher than this current price. All rubber taper are really contented right now. They can earn triple-quadraple from their basic earning more than the professionals salary!!!

Sadly because a drought season hit some part of Malaysia including my hometown, its stunted most of the banana trees. We believe there maybe wisdom behind what was happening. My father still working hard hoping that one day he will earn his investment.

Nyonya Restaurant

Have you heard about Nyonya Restaurant? Located at Temple St Dublin 2, I recommend it if you want to try the Malaysian foods. Malaysian foods consist of mixture of Malay, Chinese and Indian foods. It does not mean that these combination will make a new type of recipe but it is actually makes Malaysian foods a lot more variety with each of them have influential element that makes all Malaysian people love it so much....including me =)

From starter to main course, all comes in an affordable price which suitable for single or even a family/friends gathering. The atmosphere is more towards Chinese interior design, quite, spacious and yet comfortable. I went there for the first time once being introduced by my friend who live in Dublin. I think this restaurant is quite new because my last visit to Dublin was November last year which my friend never mentioned about it beside Charlie's the Chinese fast food restaurant.

So I went there with my beloved hubby having lunch at around 3 pm on Friday. I suppose because its Friday evening, the restaurant was just having us and the other bunch of 3 peoples sat at table around the corner. Its pretty quite but I like that environment. We ordered a Fried Dry Sambal Cha Kuew Teuw with extra chili oil, Sambal Prawn and steamed rice. Sambal here means chili paste. We were sharing these foods so each one of us can taste it since that was our first time visit. Its so delicious, superb and I can say 3 Thumbs Up !!!!(if I have extra)

Its also serve malaysian beverages and selection of alcohol. We had Soya Bean with Cincau and Malaysian White Coffee. Cincau is a jelly which made from seaweed.

So keep in mind the next food destination will be this one. Trust me its worth it!!

Person's Carryall

Like any other ordinary women, I like to collect handbags/clutches/purses. Luxury brands like Chanel, LV, Mulberry, Burberry, Anya Hindmarch...(you can named all brands under the sun here...), are those things that I dream to possess. However remind me about the price-paid, all I can do is dreaming to be someone who afford to buy it without compromising my basic needs!!!!

No matter whether I can possess it or not, here is a new collection from Chanel - Mademoiselle Handbag Collection (Gorgeous!!! Two thumbs up). Ambassadressed by Blake Lively, The Gossip Girl star, this collection is really about "Bowling" - its designed in a round-curve shape on the top-opening part of it. From mini to large size, it will definitely makes you stand-out in front of a crowd. Its not just about ' a-bowl-shape', its material promising a long-lasting handbag you ever belong. This collection made of Iguana, Alligator, Galuchat (shark skin), Calfskin, Karung and Jersey-fabric. Talk about these materials, I obviously not going to buy those made from Iguana/Alligator species. Feels like keeping an ugly monster inside my wardrobe!!!!

Personally, I like to buy a medium size handbag so that I can through all-of-the-surviving-kits inside it. This handbag is what I am going to use most of the time casually. For certain occasions such as prom, best-friends' wedding I need a smaller size than usual - its a Tiny-miny-mini handbag which makes me look simple and elegant. Not forget to mention that I need a few of large handbag as well for travel and working purposes - more spaces to dump inside big stuffs such as laptop, books, jackets and clothes.

But having said that I cannot afford the luxury brand especially Chanel, I have a few from Accessiorize, River Island, Guess, Coach etc. These are good quality items too. I have it for years and I don't feel guilty to get it more coz it only charge me no more than 2 digits of euro.

Ok enough of wording stuff in this page. Here are some pictures of Mademoiselle collection featuring Blake Lively

She is so pretty right even without these most gorgeous-est handbags on earth....

Myself with Anya Hindmarch's piece on my shoulder....
